Our Core Beliefs
We are a confessional church that believes the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. In keeping with this conviction, we sincerely receive and adopt the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms, as containing the system of doctrine taught in the Scriptures.
We are a connectional church that belongs to the Orthodox Presbyterian Church within the Presbytery of the Southeast.
Our History
In God's providence, a group of believers desired to plant an Orthodox Presbyterian church in Wilmington, North Carolina. Heritage was approved as a mission work of the Presbytery of the Southeast during its fall meeting of October 19-20, 2017.
Less than four years later, we became a particularized congregation on July 23, 2021.
Using the ordinary means of grace—especially the Word, sacraments, and prayer—we desire to shine as a faithful lampstand in this city for the glory of Christ’s crown and covenant.
